GrufSpaces

GrufSpaces allows you to assign a "GroupMember" role to a user or a group using the standard sharing tab of Plone. GroupMembers can share documents inside the GrufSpace.

• Wasn't GroupSpaces part of GroupUserFolder before?
  Yes, and we decided to make it an independent product.
• But there is already a PloneGroupSpace project in the Collective!
  We'll see whether we can combine efforts with this project. The first step is already done on our side, moving the GroupSpace content type out of GroupUserFolder into the GrufSpaces product.
  • PloneGroupSpace depends on Archetypes which is not the case for GrufSpaces. PloneGroupSpace also depends on CMFPloneTypes and its workflows.
  • GrufSpaces just depend on Plone and PloneFolder, so it is usable out of the box with Plone today.
  • GrufSpaces adds a workflow for the GroupSpace content type.
  • GrufSpaces also has some custom slots that show users their GroupSpaces.
